I am the Partnership Manager for the CT State Employees Campaign (CSEC) for Charitable Giving. I have a passion for making things better in my community. As an advocate of philanthropy, I am most interested in attending this specific Rising Star Breakfast for the opportunity to hear first-hand what Governor Malloy’s insights are on critical issues impacting Connecticut’s businesses, organizations, and residents. There is so much going on. I would love to hear what he has to say and hope to gain ideas that I can bring to back to the CSEC. I am hoping to hear how we, across the state of CT, could continue to improve on making a difference in our CT community.

I'm still relatively new to CT (about 2 years in), so am always trying to better understand the political dynamics, particularly between my home city of Hartford and the other cities/towns in the state.

I went to school, work and now live in CT and would love to learn more about what the state's overall strategy is. I enjoy living here and would like to see CT thrive. I am on the board of a Hartford based non-profit that works with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families and we have felt the impact of budget cuts the state has had to implement over the past 2 years, so Iw ould love to hear more about the methodology around balancing the budget.
    And I love breakfast :)
